How can I get started with Pilates classes at the Studio?
If you have previous experience of Pilates it may be possible to join an existing class right away – please contact us to discuss which classes might best suit your needs.
We are generally unable to offer a regular ‘beginner’ Pilates class in our timetable. If you would like to join one of our classes we recommend you attend private 1-2-1 sessions where you can learn the basic principles, techniques and exercises that will allow you to join an existing class.
Occasionally we try to run one-off workshops where we can introduce you to the basics of Pilates that will allow you to slot into an existing class. Please sign up to our mailing list to receive information about planned workshops
Regardless of whether or not you have prior experience of Pilates, if you have any injury or condition that might require particular attention in a Pilates class we would strongly recommend attending a 1-2-1 session prior to joining a class.
If you have previous experience of Reformer Pilates it may be possible to join an existing class right away – please contact us to discuss which classes might best suit your needs.
If you are new to the reformer we would recommend starting with private 1-2-1 sessions where you can learn the skills and exercises necessary to join an existing class
Occasionally we try to add a Beginner Reformer Class to the timetable. We also try to run one-off workshops to get you up and running on the reformer – although it may be necessary to attend an additional 1-2-1 session to be able to slot into an existing ‘non-beginner’ class. Please join our mailing list if you would like to be kept informed of planned Reformer sessions.
